#1975 - Brown Sugar Chocolate Fudge
(by Shirley McNevich) 2 1/3 cups Domino's dark brown sugar (OR light brown) 1 stick softened butter 2/3 cup Carnation evaporated milk (NOT condensed) 1 - 12oz. bag Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate bits 1 - 7.5oz. jar Fluff marshmallow cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional) Line a 9 x 13 cake pan with foil. In a saucepan over low heat add brown sugar, butter and Carnation milk--cook/stir until it comes to a rolling boil. Once boiling, cook/stir for 5 minutes (or 234 degrees on a candy thermometer). Remove from heat--add vanilla, chocolate bits and marshmallow cream (and chopped walnuts if you wish)--stir quickly until mixed and smooth. Pour mixture into foil lined pan. Cool completely, then refrigerate until cold. Dump fudge on to a cutting board, peel the foil from the fudge and cut fudge into squares. related searches : Brown
