{Currently Loving?}

By The Travelling Tastebuds (Visit website)

First thing’s first… check out my guest post on Tina Haupert’s  Trading Up Downtown!  I write about my two loves… food & travel… and how there is absolutely no need to compromise one to enjoy the other.  It’s a good read… so head on over and see for yourself.

1:  Italian Panettone Loaf of Bread.

Oh my goodness… this is some truly amazing stuff.  I am not a fan of fruit bread of any sort… but this I love!  It’s like sweet Hawaiian bread filled with dried sweet raisins.  And it’s such a festive bread… it’s only available during the Christmas holiday season… I think this will be a traditional foodie item for me.  Also… and I think you will love this… I found a wonderful recipe for Panettone Bread Pudding with Amaretto Syrup!  How delicious does that sound?!?!  Too bad I practically finished this loaf all by myself… I’m telling ya’… it’s addicting!  {Note to Self:  SELF… buy another loaf to make this bread pudding!}

2:  Chocolate Fudge

Any sort of fudge will do.  Normally I am not a fan of fudge as they are too sweet for my little tastebuds.  But these were good.  Almost like my comfort snack on a rainy and/or stressful work day.  What I do love about fudge are that they are another versatile food item… and you can pair practically any mix in with them.  Dried fruit… M&Ms… mint… the options are infinite.

3:  Frozen Goodies in Winter

I know this is not an actual product… but I had to include it here because who in there right mind really eats anything frozen in the dead of winter?  Whelp… folks… I do!!!  And let me tell you… it works!  Last night I had a small bowl of frozen yogurt with blueberries… and it’s never tasted so good. Frozen yogurt & gelato may be another one of my winter holiday traditions.

What are some of your holiday traditions?
