I had a fantastic day at the gym this afternoon!!! Started with 20 minutes on the treadmill {10 minutes running speed & 10 minutes walking speed} and I am just so happy that I ran at all :-) Hopefully I can work up to running 20 minutes altogether. Then I did 20 minutes on the weight machines… various back & arm exercises… my arms are super sore but it feels soooo good!!! I feel working out gives me energy… the type of energy I usually get in the form of caffeine… without the headaches. Exercise… definitely a keeper… hope I stay motivated throughout 2011!!! If any of you have got tips for me on how to stay motivated… please do share :-) Dinner tonight was my mama’s home cooking which consisted of a little o’ this… … and a lotta this. In the background you can see a plate of rice and I really don’t eat so much rice anymore. It’s such a staple in asian cuisine and I grew up eating it every day as a child… but as an adult… I’m really not digging it. And anyways… noodles trump rice any day :-) What do you prefer… noodles or rice?
