{Junk Food Weekend}

By The Travelling Tastebuds (Visit website)

I don’t know what came over me this weekend! Saturday was the worst… I was feeling FRUMPY and utterly helpless. I didn’t know what to do with myself… so I decided to eat… and eat… and eat. Me? An emotional eater? NAH!

Did you know that Domino’s has an online tracker when you place an order online? How cool is that? When you have frumpy days like me… this online tracker business is pure heaven. It was so fast & easy… I began to wonder why my homemade pizzas never bake that fast.

I got the two topping deep dish… which was yummy… but I don’t really think adding a thicker bread base qualifies it as deep dish. Deep dish is supposed to have more filling… right? Well… this has the same amount of filling… or I should say topping… with more bread. But I’m frumpy… so what do I care?

Oh man… and because they were having a sale… I got these little chicken pieces with a buffalo hot sauce. It was good… but I was expecting chicken STRIPS… not chicken NUGGETS. Look how sad they look… so lonely. And the fact that they are mere nuggets makes me feel like this wasn’t much of a sale at all.

Oh yeah… chase it down with a sugar cookie or two… extra sprinkles… extra pink. I actually also chased the pizza & nuggets down with cake & ice cream… but I didn’t want to look like a complete glutton.

Ah… lasagna… this is definitely on my list of comfort foods. The hearty tomato sauce oozing with cheese and soft pillowly blankets of pasta… absolutely divine! I :love: pasta… so heart-warming don’t you think?

Can you guess which Jolly Rancher flavor is my LEAST favorite? :)

Anyways… Sunday was MUCH better… I worked off all those fatty carbs with a morning arm workout and an afternoon 5 mile walk. And today… brekkie consisted of a bowl of corn. I’m so weird… but I plan to spend the rest of the day getting TONS of work done. I’m kind of a lazy a$$… but ironically… work and exercise are the two things that make me feel better about myself. Enjoy the rest of your Monday! Make it a good day :)
