{Life is Predictable}

By The Travelling Tastebuds (Visit website)

Hello, ladies!  TGIF… right?  I suppose when you work freelance, as I do, Fridays might as well be Saturday or Sunday… no difference.  I am on-call 24/7!!!  I spent the morning showing property to a client and it was a rather fun experience… the homeowner of one beautiful house was just so pleasant it was a shame we had to leave.  I plan to stop by later in the week with a basket of fruit to show my appreciation for her hospitality.  Seriously… she was just the sweetest lady to boot!!!

Something else that is sweet?  Look what arrived to brighten my mood after my horrendous experience with OpenSky.  I still reeling in bitterness.  Oh well… such is life.

Aaaah… flowers… just what every girl needs :)  Don’t I have the most wonderful & thoughtful boyfriend in the whole world?  I think so ;)

At home I indulged in a slice… or two… of my mama’s potato omelete with swirls of syracha hot chili sauce… uber YUM!!!

Then I made my way to my office {AKA Starbucks} to get some work done.  I was feeling the need for something other than my usual China Green Tips Tea and Cafe Americano Coffee.  I was feeling something… cold… which was odd considering the chilly weather.

But I am not one to deprive my cravings… EVER.  So venti iced coffee with soy milk & a shot of espresso it was.  Oh my goodness… now THIS was delicious.  So delicious I finished it in 30 minutes flat… and went back for a 50 cent refill.  I amaze myself at times.

Starbucks was offering banana walnut bread samples so i snatched one… popped it in my mouth faster than you could say ‘banana walnut loaf’… and declared it good.

I also brought my own supply of Cheez-Its :)  Perfectly salty to counter the sweet coffee & bread sample.

Actually, this was my attempt at saving money since I have a tendency to spend each time I come here… which is everyday.  Obviously… I was unsuccessful.  But I will not give up!!!  I must try other strategies to offset the lure of the Starbucks bakery.  Wish me luck :)
