The tasting at J. Emerson tonight featured something extraordinary: 1981 Max Ferd. Richter Erdener Treppchen Riesling Kabinett (Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, Germany) Pay close attention to the date - 1981. And the Riesling is still tasting good. And it's only $20. A rare find and a rare treat.  Turkey Day is right around the corner and this would be a great wine to serve.
