The day i turned a year older, i managed to construct a plain chiffon cake into something like Red-ribbon creation which my lil cousins think of the cake.
A few bottles of cooled drinks, strawberry and mint, lemon iced tea and a home made lemonade with mint

We spent roasting all these the night before my birthday. A gift from my uncle a Turkey, i deboned it and spent quiet 30 minutes or so. I carefully stuffed it with ham, ground pork, raisins, pickle relish, hard-b=oiled eggs.The boss made me a wonderfully roasted whole chicken stuffed with orange and lemon peels, and the rub consist of different mixed herbs and a bulb of roasted garlic for topping
Of course potato wedges baked with olive oil and rosemary. Leaving the skin on gives more of an earthy nice flavour.

Mum;s ever tasty biko, sticky rice, cooked with caramelized sugar and coconut milk.The cake sitting and chilling in the fridge with bottles of water and San Miguel beer.


No birthday is complete without the Noodles, longevity! Rice noodles with vegetables and pieces of pork and chicken strips.
