A Little Caribbean Bliss to Close out the Year

Last year was our first year living through a Midwestern winter, four straight months of shades of gray. By the time March rolled around and those bold crocuses poked their courageous little heads through the snow, we were all starved for color and desperate to give our chapped lips a break. And we weren't even living in Chicago, the capitol of winter!



This year, we decided to deal with the Midwestern winter differently. We planned a bold escape to a place filled with a riot of color: the Cayman Islands.





The chapped lips are gone and are replaced by big smiles all around.



The return to the frozen world will probably be rough, but for now, we'll continue to wade blissfully in the Turquoise Caribbean waters.
