Afternoon Delight: Turon
After waiting for the saba/banana to be perfectly ripe, here it is.. Turon.. saba-banana wrapped with spring roll wrapper coated with sugar. The outcome.. yumminess! A friend of ours gave us saba, and all I can think of is to make Turon and Banana Split/Saging con Yelo.. Yum! Now, we have to wait for the other half to ripen so we can have our Saging con Yelo.. We don`t have brown sugar so I used white.. plus.. didn`t coat it with too much sugar, just enough to make it sweet.. how to do it? Peel the banana, cut it in half, lengthwise. sprinkle some sugar.. Wrap it, brush the wrapped banana with a little water, then sprinkle both sides with sugar. Deep fry until golden brown. That`s it! related searches : Afternoon
