Almost Flexi-Pescatarian

By Lily's Health Pad (Visit website)

The last weekend I spent at my parents? was all about watching Dexter with my mom.

This past weekend was all about watching Harry Potter with my dad.

(P.S. No Butterbeer sold at Sleasley Cinemas :-( )

It is father/daughter tradition to see the Harry Potter movies together.IMG_3245

Can?t you see the excitement my dad is radiating in this picture?

He had to wait weeks before we could coordinate our schedules, and his Harry Potter anticipation was nearly busting at the seams.

Before viewing the motion picture, we stopped at Ruby Tuesday?s in accordance with another father/daughter tradition.

LHP Dad eats a lot of artificial crap, but surprisingly he does love a good salad.

After filling our bellies, we headed to the main event.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I was SO good!  I had heard a lot of loyal HP fans express disappointment, but I certainly couldn?t figure out why.  The 7th book was probably the slowest HP novel in my opinion, but this movie is my favorite so far.

In other news, Beatrice is starting a blog.

Not really, although I have contemplated creating a cat blog for Link.  (LHP pets and co. are all avid readers and fans of Moneen The Cat?s blog.)

Except Irvin.  He is anti-blog.

He, says ?Puh-leez, not another blogger in the family.  Where can a guy get any privacy these days??

Irvy is a behind the scenes dude.

Unlike Beatrice, who insists on inserting herself in the middle of everything.

But I?ll stop with cat pictures before Diana vomits.

You may wish to know, my mom made a gourmet pot roast this weekend.

horseradish encrusted pork loin with red potatoes, butternut squash, cranberries, and celery

I was a huge fan of the veggies.  Meat?especially pork–is not really my fave.

Dinner number 2 was more my speed.  Carby ravioli, crusty bread, pesto sauce, and mozzarella cheese.

My diet is almost completely vegetarian now.  I always cook veggie for myself, but I eat meat if it?s the only option.  I do enjoy seafood though.  Not sure what that makes me.  An almost flexi-pescatarian?
