Andhra pakodas

By Cooking is fun (Visit website)

Diwali is round the corner and I have been thinking hard about what I should make when I have some unexpected guests at home.
Well this is what I plan to make.Lovely Besan(Gram flour) pakodas.

Ingredients:
? Gram flour -1 cup
? Sliced onions ? 3
? Green chillies -4
? A small piece of Ginger
? Red chilli powder
? Salt

Procedure

? Make a fine paste of ginger and the green chillies.
? Add water to gram flour and mix thoroughly to make a thick paste.
? Add the sliced onions and also the ginger chilli paste, salt and mix.
? Add a tea spoon of red chilli powder. This imparts taste as well as a lovely
colour.
? Take oil in a pan and heat it on a low flame.
? Now take small portions of this mixture and fry it in oil till they are light brown in colour.

The pakodas are now ready. They are best when served hot. They can be served with any sauce or ketchup.Have fun making them!!!!!!!!!
