Any way you slice it...

By Consider This! (Visit website)

I couldn't resist a little sunshine this morning, and decided to walk over to Publix for some grocery shopping. I toted my Trader Joe's bag and made my way through the aisles, successfully forgetting that I would be walking back as well. Funny habit I have. I picked up some things to get me through until my Whole Foods haul later on. I even got brave enough to buy a box of Tofurky slices, I KNOW.

When I got home, I dubiously slide a knife along the plastic. Revealing what looked to be a piece of Turkey, I muted my thoughts and wrapped on.
Sneaked into a Spinach wrap with Dill Hummus and tomato

Clandestine enough, I tried to combat any judgements with a swift kick in the ass and tooth to tongue.

I also had an Orange that was just not up to par, a bit dry seeing as I had stolen its zest a week prior. My fault!
Mid way through the Tofu exploit I had the ingenious idea to kick it up a notch with a little BBQ drizzle.
See, those humbly dressed little bottles floating around blogland made there way to my doorstep while I was gone. The friendly folks of Country Bob's were kind enough to send me a few samples, and what timing! This was a great addendum to my wrap, and will be more fully incorporated into my dinner!
I'll give it full review after a proper taste testing, and finger licking meal!
I also had some grapes that looked like great fun!
Well, I hate to give my unsuspecting friend Tofu a bad name, but I just can't get on this Tofurky train. I find it a bit off putting, and I apologize because I can't seem to detach my preconceived notions on such items. I am no fair judge in this game.

I was hoping to find another option for quick protein, with soon to be 7 hour days in a kitchen I know I will be needing some quality fuel. Thing is, I just don't "feel" properly fueled on these slivers of pretend turkey. My mind plays some serious games, kids.
Im gonna leave this one to the hardcore peeps out there.
...Bring on the nuts!

Speaking of pretend, I'm going to go pretend to unpack and find myself baking. See you after yoga!
