50 gm Sugar 100 gm Honey 100 gm White flour 4 Egg250 gm Butter 50 gm Almond 50 gm Walnut 100 gm Melon seeds 100 gm Khoya 150 gm Clarified butter
Directions In a mixing bowl add flour, sugar, eggs, butter and clarified butter. Knead to a smooth dough cover and leave the dough to rise for 20 minutes.With a rolling pin roll the dough into a Circular shape and spread a layer of butter. Turn the dough from one side and freeze for 30 minutes. Remove from freezer and again re freeze. Repeat this process three times.With a rolling pin shape the dough into a square sheet and sprinkle khoya, chopped almonds, chopped walnuts, honey and melon seeds. Fold from all four corners and bake at 200C.Keep on brushing the baklava with a beaten egg .Bake until it turns golden brown in color.Remove from oven and spoon honey over the bakhlawa.
