Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse

Normally I don't write about or even go to restaurants of a higher price range, but October 13th was our fourth year anniversary. I figured we deserved a real treat. Jessie had never been to the type of restaurant where the chef cooks in front of you and does fancy tricks on a hibachi grill. So that's exactly where I would take her. The location was Arirang Hibachi Steakhouse located in Bay Ridge of Brooklyn. As expected, there was jokes aplenty that night and some hijinx while the chef did his routine. He was obviously very skilled at what he does as he propelled sliced vegetables from his spatula across the tables into everyone's mouths, (and into one woman's cleavage). Aside from the funny stuff and shenanigins, they also had some very good food. Jessie had the Hibachi Chicken and I the Imperial (Filet Mignon Fit for Royalty). These were serious high quality cuts of meat. So tender and juicy. I've told you of the main course, but now that I've shown you the end, I'd like to Quentin Tarrantino this and start back at the beginning. We had a simple Miso Soup to start and I don't mind saying that this is the best of its kind I've ever had. Maybe it was the onions. The next course was sushi. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Roll. To give you an idea of how good this was let me first tell you that I can't stand seafood nor sushi. However, I ate this a truly enjoyed it. Basically everything that we ate was made perfectly. Even the side of white rice was full of buttery and fluffy goodness. After the main course was eaten, a scoop of vanilla ice cream was served for each of us. Come on! It's not even fair!
