Artichoke and Edamame Salad with Chef Sam Mason
Insomnia struck us tonight, and while video hopping we found an interesting online show called “Dinner with the Band” on One Networks. The show host is Manhattan Chef Sam Mason, former pastry chef at WD-50, now chef/owner of Tailor. According to the NY Daily News Darin Bresnitz chose Sam Mason for the show because “”I Googled ‘hipster chef,’ and Sam came up”. The show concept is this: Sam invites touring bands to his NY loft, they prepare dinner and discuss music. Interesting premise right? In this video, Chef Sam prepares a whiskey and apple cider braised artichoke and edamame salad with cilantro for indie band Holy Hail.
