Artisans Helping Haiti

By Chic and Green (Visit website)

On Etsy, there is a collective I mentioned yesterday made up of several artisans called Hearts for Haiti. Today, I'd like to tell you more. 100% of the profits (excluding Etsy and Paypal fees from the sales) will be donated directly to Doctors Without Borders to help provide medical care to those affected by the quake in Haiti.

Note: Just after I published this piece, I learned about the 6.1 magntitude aftershock this morning in Haiti. Every penny will help these people.

Wedding bouquet is made from vintage fabrics by Bedouin, $35

Collage from Maddabling, $6

Valentine is by Dawn Correspondence, $2.75

Neck warmer from Knot Original, $46

Earrings from Blackstar, $17

Mosaic heart is from Smash Girl, $22

Holly Gems created this Valentine's Day piece, $20

Necklace is by Glas Faden, $30

Here are some of two shops I'd like to mention also helping this cause from my favorite site, 1000 Markets:

Banner Mountain Textiles over on 1000 Markets is donating 20% of her sales to the American Red Cross to go to disaster relief.

O by Olivia on 1000 Markets is donating 15% of her profits to Yele Haiti as part of the Gifts That Keep on Giving Program at 1000 Markets.
