Assiette de mes gâteaux Algériens

 Greetings all my friends in the Blogosphere!


I have not been getting online much these past weeks, other that to quickly check my e-mails since it is that time of the year when my daughter is having her final exams. She and I have been cramming studying in all our free time.


And also much to my sadness my mum is leaving us, going back home to Hungary. We will really miss her ... but hopefully she is will be back soon!


Today, I just share with all of you a few Algerian sweet cakes that I helped make with my husband's cousin who lives next door ... for her sister's in laws' baby shower. All of these are new updated styles of traditional Algerian cakes ... please enjoy them ... at least virtually ... I have been cutting out sweets so I too can only enjoy them visiually. But  I know my husband sure did enjoy them!

PS: 

On an unrelated but happy note! For those of you who know me and have read here, that we have started changing our eating habits ... and am trying to lose my pregnancy weight ... I am happy to share with everyone that I am down 5,5 kg eating healthier and moving more!

I would like to thank Ivy of Kopiaste for sharing all her delicious yet healthy Greek and Cyripot cooking ... which I have been cooking for the family!

I will soon in the near future post on how to make these for anyone interested - they are rather easy to make and look beautiful!
