B Block Midterms

By Bites of the Day (Visit website)

This week is a tough one. Lots of quizzes, some considered midterms, and group projects to work on. I'm glad I got my restaurant review done already. There will definitely be some celebrating come Friday after banquets! It was sort of a stressful day but it started off with a really great run (7.2 miles) before classes. Long story short...lots to do, not enough time, may have freaked out a little today...but tomorrow is a new one, right?

Pre-run snack: Spelt cake with pb and some of this orange cranberry gnu bar (which was snacked on throughout the day). Out of all the flavors this is my favorite, the orange really lightens it up. Next would be cinnamon raisin, then pb, then banana walnut.

Breakfast: 5 grain cereal with flax, banana, blueberries, and some fage

Lunch: We went to Apple Pie again for lunch. I got the chopped salad which was a whole bunch of veggies which made me happy but it didn't fill me up enough since it lacked protein.

Dinner: We are excused from banquets until Thursday since a new group started today. All the kitchens opened late so we ate at Farq.

I got the coconut curry chicken which I added a bunch of sriracha too since it was not spicy enough for me. It somewhat fulfilled my craving for Thai....

I also made a salad and ate an orange (unpictured).

My brain is sort of fried so I'm going to get to bed and get up early to do some homework and studying prior to my run! I'll get back on track soon with posting. Its been so crazy between school, break, homework, new friends and things of that sort...

Random food fact of the day: Green or white on a strawberry indicates it was picked immature...unfortunately, berries stop ripening as soon as they are picked and depending on travel time this can be a common thing to do....
