Baked Stuffed Bell Pepper
Here's the continuation of my post..the last part actually. I have bell peppers and I thought of stuffing them with ground pork mixture. Remember I made meat cake? I took half of the mixture to stuff my bell peppers. Then I bake them for 30 minutes at 350 or 180. The result is satisfyingly good. The aroma will truly make you salivate.. hmmmnnnn.... the Tagalog word for this is Relyenong Bell Pepper... sorry, I don't know the Tagalog word for bell pepper. Relyeno is a way of cooking in the Philippines wherein you stuff a mixture inside the vegetable, chicken or fish. The stuffing could be a mixture of meat or fish itself together with some veggies and spices. They are normally cooked by frying with lots of oil. My hubby told me that it tasted different, I told him that I baked it instead of frying. Quite disappointing I know... cause he prefers the traditional method of Relyeno... by frying.
This photo was taken before I bake them. I managed to take a photo after cooking ( seconds before we eat the) but I used my husband's iPhone...haven't transferred it yet. tomorrow I will post it.( actually it was my husband who took the photo.) Now here's the cooked part... the natural juice of bell pepper comes out and... the aroma is enticing ..the whole kitchen smells good! related searches : Baked
