Bakin? & Eggs ? Bacon Waffles

Last Sunday I met a few girlfriends at Bakin’ & Eggs on Lincoln Avenue in Lakeview. It’s a new brunch place owned by the folks that created Lovely Bakery, another lovely spot located in Wicker Park. Menu here. If you love bacon, then Bakin’ & Eggs is your heaven. Two out of the four of us at brunch ordered the bacon waffles. Really, really delicious! Sweet and salty and crispy and chewy. Yum! Another in our party ordered the pumpkin pancakes which were “the best pumpkin pancakes I’ve ever had.” Oh yes, and she also order the “flight of bacon”~!



Yummy, yummy bacon waffles! Are you one of those people that dips your bacon into maple syrup? I am totally one of those people – so this meal was amazing!
