Batter Fried Chicken Lollipop Recipe Credit - Asianet Cookery Show Makes: 8 You will need 8 chicken lollipop 125 ml cooking oil for frying ( 3/4 - inch from the base of the kadai / frying pan ) For the batter: 1/2 cup ( 80 g ) corn flour 1 egg 2 teaspoon kasoori methi 3/4 teaspoon salt ( or to taste ) 1 - inch ginger piece, chopped and finely crushed 1 onion, finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 3 tablespoon water Method Mix all the batter ingredients together and make a smooth batter with water. Batter should be of dropping consistency. Heat oil in a frying pan / kadai. Reduce the heat to medium and dip chicken lollipop in the batter, coat well and fry on a medium heat in batches ( 4 lollipops at a time ) till golden color on both the sides. Place chicken lollipops on paper towel to drain. Serve hot with tomato sauce. related searches : Batter
