Besan Laddu / Besan Ladoo
These laddus are popular all over North India especially at festivals and celebrations ,especially Diwali. It is a very easy to make . Ingredients:- Sieved Besan Flour - 1 1/2 cups Finely Powdered Sugar - 1 1/2 cups Ghee - 1 cup Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp Sliced Cashews - 2-3 tsp Method:- 1) Fry cashew nuts in some ghee and keep aside. 2) Heat some ghee in a thick bottom pan on a low flame. Add besan flour and stir continuously. Occasionally add ghee into it. Keep stirring till the flour becomes golden brown and ghee separates. Remove from fire ,set aside to cool down a little. 3) After cooling ,add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, and fried cashew nuts . Mix well. Using lightly greased hands, Shape into small rounds / laddus.Garnish with Sliced Cashews. 4) Let them dry completely. 5) Then Store laddus in an airproof container. Note : If it is difficult to make laddus then you can add some melted ghee. related searches : Besan
