Besani Bhindi ( Fried Okra with Gram Flour ) Ingredients 500 g bhindi 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 2 tablespoon besan ( gram flour ) 1 tablespoon lemon juice Oil for frying Salt to taste Method Wash the bhindis and wipe with a napkin. Remove the stalks and divide into 2 lengthwise.
Mix all the ingredients along with bhindi together. Heat oil in a kadai / frying pan. Fry bhindis in batches on a medium heat until it becomes golden and crisp. Serve hot as a side dish with rice / chapati / rotis. related searches : Besani Bhindi
