Birthday Breakdown

By Emily Eats Clean (Visit website)

Erin’s birthday came and went in a flash!  Thankfully, I was able to finish up patient documentation before we headed out for Erin’s birthday.  Therefore, I was able to enjoy the evening with the family and not stress about having work left to do.

Lunch

I loved my sandwich from Monday night so much that I was planning on recreating it for lunch yesterday.  But that’s kinda hard when you forget your bread at home. :D

Therefore, Earth Fizzle came to the rescue

Grilled chicken, goat cheese, and pesto ‘wich, a side of fruit and coffee

This sandwich was really good!   At home recreation in the future, maybe?!?

Snack

My midafternoon snack was pretty simple yesterday.

Plain Stonyfield yogurt with Kashi Cinnamon Harvest cereal.  And I didn’t end up eating the naner pictured.

Birthday Dinner

Erin choose Chop House for dinner….yumm-o!

Our meal started out with bread

I was soo hungry I ate 2 slices, plus you all know I’m a total carb hoe.  :D

Erin opened her presents while we were waiting on our dinner plate to arrive

My sis is a total perfume junkie.  Russell and I got her the new Coach perfume for her birthday…..and its her Christmas present too…that stuff is expensive!  :D

Following dinner, car breakdown occurred…..

Who knows what happened to mom and dad’s car, but towing was required. :(

We finally made it back to my parent’s house following the car drama for my sister’s birthday cake, Cheesecake Factory Godiva Chocolate cheesecake [a.k.a death by chocolate and calories]

Holy yum!

Having all this technology at my fingertips on my new phone is pretty amazing.  I’ve still not figured out text messaging, but dag’on I’ve figured out a bunch of apps……including a calorie/nutrition app.

I looked up this Cheesecake Factory cheesecake and was shocked to discover that it had almost 900 calories per slice!!  WHAT?!?!  That’s nuts!  Therefore, I cut 1/2 a slice

And only ate 1/2 of my 1/2 a slice

I cut the remains up, took it home, and stuck it in the freezer for little treats to satisfy sweet tooth cravings in the future.

With Erin’s birthday over mine is officially just around the corner.  12 days till my bday.  I look forward to celebrating my birthday in Chicago with my hubby!  :D

What applications can you not live without on on your phone??
