Brown bread with molasses
As I recently bought molasses, was interested to find out how they work:) They work good!:)
This recipe attracted my attention also because you don't have to wait several times for the dough to rise. So it's not so time consuming. apr.400gr whole wheat flour 200gr wheat flour apr. 40gr sunflower seeds 15gr instant yeast apr.400ml warm water 2 tb.s. molasses 1 tb.s. salt Dissolve yeast in 100ml warm water. Mix molasses with 100ml water. Now combine flour, yeast and molasses. Add salt. You need to make sticky and wet dough, so probably you'll need another 100-200ml water. Grease the form and put the dough in there, leave for 60 minutes, covered (make sure the form is high enough!). Oven 230C. Bake for apr.40 minutes (if it's getting too dark, place a bowl with water), when you knock on it, it should give hollow sound. Let it cool on a rack. related searches : Brown
