Butter Measurement Translation Chart to Defeat NEFARIOUS recipe writers
Cooking is one thing, with butter I generally measure by the globs, or alot of, Or the famous: yea, that's about right... and other times, It really needs more butter... and you cook with it....... but baking and candy making that's another story... I measure everything with a scale... So your reading along on the recipe and it comes to butter. And it says 1/8th stick of butter, and your saying to yourself, " Say what???" you look at the stick of butter and the paper wrapper is all weird, either it's crooked or wrinkled or whatever, You all have been there. Well when I got my dig scale, and started baking... I'm going nuts. the scale doesn't read teaspoons or tablespoons. So off to the internet, knowing in my heart there is a conversion chart out there to convert butter to weight... And again, the Internet came through for me again... So what I've done is made a chart that you all are more than welcome to copy and hang on the wall or make wall paper out of it... (that would make some cool wall paper,,) never mind! But do make a copy of this, it will become important someday... What you'll have to do is a copy and paste thing. This chart is set up for 8-1/2X11 Paper... So you'll have one full page and then a few lines on another page..... But what the heck it works... So let me know what you think, how it works for you, and all that other good stuff........ this should be a big help in the kitchen to you... I laminated mine.... related searches : Butter
