Butternut Squash, Caramelized Onion, and Gorgonzola Pizza
This is the first time I've ever made pizza from scratch. I know it's hard to believe with the amount of cooking I do but I was always afraid of the pizza dough. I've heard it can be quiet temperamental.I saw this amazing recipe on the blog Closet Cooking and just had to try it out. So, it was a bit of a long process to make but it turned out very well and wasn't that difficult. I will say that pizza dough is very different than pie dough which I am very familiar with. When your stretching out your pizza dough if you tear a hole in it you can't just fold it onto itself and fix your blunder. If you make a hole, it's there for good! Luckily this recipe made enough for 3 pizzas so I just threw the one out that I ruined and still had plenty for 2 medium sized pizzas. I think I will try this dough recipe again but with different toppings. I did L*O*V*E this combo though of caramelized onion and Gorgonzola. Recipe for this pizza HERE
Please take minuet to have a *PEEK* at my all handmade GIVEAWAYS. I only feature beautiful handmade things that I would buy myself. You won't be disappointed:)
