Cabbage Onion Sabzi
Cabbage with onion sabzi is very easy to prepare. This sabzi can be served as side dish. The secret of this sabzi is the right combination of cabbage and onions. It tastes a lot better than it sounds. The basic recipe is here.
Cabbage Onion Sabzi Ingredients: Chopped Cabbage ½ kilo Chopped onion 2 big size Grated coconut 1 cup Coriander seeds 2 tsp. Turmeric powder ¼ tsp. Soaked Tamarind 4 inch or small lemon size Red chilli broken into pieces 1 Red chili powder 2 tsp. Mustard seeds 1 tsp. Oil Salt to taste For the masala Coarsely grind the coconut, red chilli powder and tamarind. Method : Heat oil in a heavy bottomed Pan. Add mustard seeds in it. As mustard seeds splutter add red chilli, and onion and fry for few seconds.Now add cabbage, turmeric powder and salt. Sprinkle some water and cover it with a lid and cook it on a low flame. Cook till cabbage turns to soft. Now add masala and stirr continuously for 1 minute and serve hot. related searches : Cabbage
