Casual Friday: A Celebratory Purchase
This Week’s Film: Seven Years in Tibet Last Saturday, I celebrated the Seventh Anniversary of Chopstick Cinema, and after all those years using the same cookware to produce thousands of blog dishes, it finally became obvious to me that it was high time to buy a new set. So I set about researching my options. Since the last time I purchased cookware (a nice basic set of Faberware that I bought at my local Wal-Mart), I must say that the array of choices is significantly more abundant. Not only are there the old tried-and-true brands that I grew up with, there are dozens of new manufacturers, not to mention the fact that every celebrity chef on the Food Network and beyond has his or her own proprietary brand. But upon exhaustive research, I finally decided on a twelve-piece set of T-Fal, a brand that I have used in years past with much pleasure and good success. I ordered it from Amazon.com last week, it arrived on Monday, and on first impression, I couldn?t have been happier with my decision. Since then I?ve had the opportunity to take it for a spin and have found it to be not only attractively designed, but also a joy to use, and a whiz to clean. No buyer?s remorse here? This gal is one happy customer. related searches : Casual
