Cauliflower Kuruma
CAULIFLOWER KURMA Kurma is another gravy like thing for chapathi or pulao. It is a mixture of spices with cauliflower. Cuisine : Indian Preparation time : 10 mins Cooking time : 20 mins Course : Side dish Main Ingredients : Cauliflower Ingredients : Cauliflower florets - 2 cups Tomato - 1 cup Onion - 1 cup Grenn chilli - 5 nos Garlic cloves - 5 Ginger - 2 tbsp Chilli powder - 2 tbsp Turmeric - 1 tbsp Malli powder - 2 tbsp Cardamom - 1 nos Cashew - 5 nos Bay leaves - 2 Star anise - 1 Jeera - 1 tbsp Sombu - 1 tbsp Salt to taste Oil - 1 tbsp Preparation : Heat the pan with oil init. Then add jeera, sombu, star anise, bayleaves and cardamom.Grind Tomato, onions, cashew, green chilli into a fine paste. In a small bowl, add hot water and the florets init to just have a little bit cooking.Then to the pan add the paste, let it boit with turmeric, malli and chilli powder.When the raw smell is off, you can add the cauliflower florets and close it with a lid. It will be good in 10 mins in medium high heat.Now you can add salt. Garnish with chopped capsicum. Serve it hot with chapathi.
