Changing Cravings
There’s NOTHING like a fresh batch of Almond Butter…..
So creamy, smooth, delicious.
When the weather gets cool…I start eating my budget-friendly, quick and easy “comfort food” lunch. It gets retired in the Spring and comes back late fall: Almond Butter and Organic Raspberry Jam on a toasted Ezekial English Muffin.
If it wasn’t for my Wheatgrass, My Vitamix and now my newly inherited juicer….
I mean, I enjoy some roasted veggies with dinner, or steamed broccoli. grilled asparagus, etc. However, I know that don’t get nearly enough even with those servings alone. I don’t think people realize how much we really need! Also, how tough it can be getting it all in! I for one, can NOT eat salads everyday for lunch…especially in the colder weather when I crave warming foods. I love soups, and I think they are a way to get in some veggies…but there is nothing like raw veggies. In the summer, it’s super easy….it’s all I crave! Now, not as much. Although I have been craving healthy juices a lot lately
Do your cravings change when the weather changes?
Do you believe that people, on average, get enough fruits and veggies in their diet?

Stand sideways next to a step, holding 5- to 8-pound dumbbells with arms in a relaxed position and elbows slightly behind your body. Next, step laterally onto the step. At the top of the step, tighten your abs and lean forward slightly. Press the dumbbells behind you and straighten your arms. One stepup and press counts as one rep. Step down and repeat for a complete set before switching sides.
