Chco Coffee cake with some of my loving delights..!

Hi Friends,

I'm bringing for you Choco coffee Cake, Noodles and Spicy Potato Fry..

1. Chocolate Coffee Cake Non-Microwave Cake:



Ingredients:

1. All-purspose flour(Maida) - 11/2 cups,
2. Cocoa powder - 1/2 cup,
3. Sugar - 11/4 cups,
4. Coffee powder - 3 tsp,
5. Baking powder - 1 tsp,
6. Salt - a pinch,
7. Vegetable oil - 1 cup,
8. Egg - 1,
9. Milk - 1 cup,
10. Vanilla extract - 1 tsp,
11. Chopped Nuts - 1 cup.
For frosting:
1. Butter - 1 stick,
2. Powdered sugar - 1 cup,
3. Cocoa powder - 4 tsp,
4. Milk - 5 tsp,
5. Vanilla exract - 1/2 tsp.



How to make this?

1. Sieve and mix together the dry ingredients Maida, sugar, Baking powder, Cocoa, salt.
2. Make a well in the center and add the egg, milk, oil, vanilla extract and mix well.
3. In a ceramic bowl, grease with butter and pour the cake mix in to it and cover with an aluminium foil. Heat 1/2 level water in the electric cooker and place the ckae bowl in to it carefully. Cook for 11/2 hours.
4. After done, take the bowl out and check with a knife if its done, or else cook for more time.
Frosting:
Prepare the frosting 5mins before cake is done. Mix together milk, cocoa, vanilla, butter and heat it in medium flame till it boils. Now, take it out and add the nuts and sugar till it dissolves well. Pour over the cake when the cake is still hot.



Top with the remaining nuts and refrigerate it and serve..!

2. Simple Noodles with veggies:



Ingredients:
1. Maggie Noodles - 1 pack,
2. Onion - 1 chop lengthwise,
3. Green peas - 1/4 cup,
4. Water - 21/4 cups.

How to make this?

1. Heat the water till it boils and put in the noodles with the masala packet.
2. When the noodles is cooking, add the onions and green peas and cook till done.
Enjoy!

3. Spicy Potato Coconut fry:



This is my Mom's recipe. One of my favourite dish.

Ingredients:
1. Potato - 3 (Peel and cut in to small pieces),
2. Fennel seeds - 1 tsp,
3. Tomato - 1 chop finely,
4. Red chilly powder - 7 tsp,
5. Turmeric powder - 3 tsp,
6. Salt - as per taste,
7. Grated coconut - 1/2 cup,
8. Pearl onions - 3,
9. Curry leaves - 1 string,
10. Oil - for frying.

How to make this?

1. Grind the coconut, fennel seeds, onions in to a fine paste.
2. Mix this in to the chopped potatoes, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt well together.
3. Heat oil in kadai, put the masala mixed potatoes and the curry leaves and add enough water & cover cook.
4. After done, sprinkle oil on the sides and fry till golden brown.

Enjoy this with tasty Sambar rice, Rasam and curd rice..! Enjoy!!!:)
