Chicken Tamales


By What I Had For Dinner Tonight (Visit website)



The local Alameda farmers market on Tuesday had a stand with a woman selling her own pre-packaged Mexican food. I tried a package of her chicken tamales, which I steamed according to directions inside their corn husks, then topped with cheese and some medium strength salsa. On the whole, I’d have to say they were pretty darned good, and I’d have ‘em again!
