Chicken & Wild Boar Sausages Paprika Stew
It's snowing again. I mentioned before Christmas that it was snowing, but the snow melted and everthing was back to "normal" for about a week. But now, the whole of Britain is covered in snow! So what do I do to cope with current adverse weather condition? ![]() Cocoon myself in the duvet and stay rooted on my couch. and of course with a huge bowl of comforting stew. ![]() Ingredients: 250g wild boar sausages - sliced720g (about 7 pieces) chicken pieces 3 small onions - sliced 3 small carrots - chopped into large chunks 1 parsnip - chopped into large chunks 1/2 swede - chopped into large chunks 1 can (400g) plum tomatoes 8 mushrooms - halved 2 tbs sweet paprika 2 bay leaves 1 cup water 1 cup red wine 2 tbs tomato paste Sugar Salt Directions: Heat up a bit of oil in a pot, brown chicken on all sides or use a broiler. Remove, leave aside for later use.Place wild boar sausages in pan, brown both sides. Remove, leave aside for later use. Add onions, cook until soft and translucent. Add red wine, scrape off brown bits on pan. Mix in the rest of the ingredients. Bring to boil then lower heat to simmer for about 45 mins or until meat is tender.
