Chocolate Glaze Recipe
This is the recipe that I use for my chocolate glaze toppings- it works well with cheesecakes and chocolate covered strawberries!
6 ounces of bittersweet chocolate ( finely chopped ) ¼ cup butter ¼ cup confectioner?s sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/3 cup water DIRECTIONS 1. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a double boiler 2. Stir in the sugar, vanilla, and water until the consistency is smooth and even 3. Once the mixture is lukewarm in temperature, spread over the cake and chill before serving
