College Memories
The many sides of Meghann
Bored, much? Not going to lie. The traffic has been a wee bit slow at our booth today. This is one of our big, national shows, so the slow traffic has been a little disheartening. Oh well. What can ya do? At least I have booth candy to occupy my time.
This x 3 (including a Reeses and a Midnight Milky Way)
I played the role of super, duper co-worker earlier this afternoon and offered to run down the street to grab lunch for my co-workers and myself. It was nice to get outside for a little bit. The tradeshow floor is FREEZING, but it’s nice and sunny outside. Down the street I found a Jimmy Johns for lunch.
I’m not the biggest fan of Jimmy John’s (it’s a little bland for my taste), but it was a really popular place to eat at back in college. Now, everytime I see one or go inside one I’m instantly brought back to the Florida State Campus where Jimmy John’s delivered from practically anywhere and always took 20 minutes or less to get to us.
I ordered the veggie slim with cheese, avocado spread, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, and sprouts.
On the side I split a pickle with my co-worker.
Yesterday I had a few questions on my tattoo and even though I’ve shared the story on my blog before, I thought I would share it again.
(I know my feet need lotion) To make a long story short, I had the snowflake tattoo done on my 19th birthday. I got it on my foot because my roommate had one there and I thought it was a cute spot. The snowflake design was based on one of my favorite snowflake sheet of stickers that I’ve had forever. I’ve always had a thing for snowflakes and always knew I wanted a tattoo of one in some shape or form. Snowflakes are beautiful to me and I love that , like humans, each one is unique. You’ll never find two snowflakes that are the same, just like you will never find two people that are the same. I went through a bit of a rebellious stage in college with tattoos and piercings. I’m easily influenced by others and when I saw friends getting tattoos I knew I wanted one. And when I saw friends getting piercings I wanted one too. Did you know I had my nose pierced at one time?
I had gone to the piercing parlor with a couple of friends who were getting theirs pierced and decided right then and there to have mine done too. I got it pierced right before my 20th birthday and kept it in until I moved to Orlando when I was 23.
It was fun to have and I miss it sometimes.
Did you have any piercings in college or high school that you’ve since taken out? related searches : College
