Cook Book Giveaway!!

I have a friend, her name is Mandy and she has a great blog!  She lives in Pensacola, Florida and she JUST WROTE HER FIRST COOKBOOK!  Way to go Mandy!  And because we are friends (and I helped her proof and edit the final versions) she is giving ME a cookbook and an extra one to give to one of my readers!

Mandy admits that she wasn't much of a cook until a year ago. However, in late 2009 she decided to start preparing healthier meals from scratch. Her book shares how she made that happen and her journeys in the kitchen. This cookbook is more than recipes though. Mandy has quite the sense of humor! So her book also contains silly poetry, such as this one below which she permitted me to share:


Ode to Onions

Why do you always make me cry?
You and your multi-layers
Just peel it off already
So I can slice you,
Dice you
And have my way with you.
