Cookies that you don?t bake? it?s magic
Lecture this afternoon was really really good. I even quit taking notes at the end because I was so enthralled with the topic. Made class go by so fast which is good, I needed it. Max came to see me tonight! I hadn?t seen him in a while, I was Max deprived Magic Cookies aka No Bake Cookies? I just like the magic idea Ingredients 1 3/4 cup sugar 4 TBSP cocoa powder 1/2 cup butter 1/2 cup milk 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 tsp vanilla 3 cups oats (rolled or quick, your choice) Directions combine butter, sugar, milk and cocoa powder and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes then remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter, combine. Add oats. Spoon out onto parchment paper and let set for 30 mins. Done! No baking, it?s like magic! Dinner While the cookies sat we went to the Taqueria. I didn?t get to go today since I had class and we both had a hankerin? for some wet chicken burritos. This is a chicken burrito with rice, beans, and chicken inside then topped with ?wet burrito sauce? (we don?t know exactly what it is), cheese and chips! Thank goodness we split because this was huge! Look! I went out to the taqueria in 2 shoes! I?m technically not supposed to but it was close, I did almost no walking and there wasn?t a lot of people running around to potentially bang it or anything. I cannot tell you how great this felt!!! The chips with the cheesy wet burrito sauce is the best part! We talked and ate wonderfully authentic Mexican food. Then we saw that it was getting dark and we headed home to enjoy our No Bake [magic] Cookies. Can life get any better?! What kind of food can you eat every day and never get tired of it? Mexican Food! Definitely Mexican food! I always missed it so much when we?d go to rural Illinois for the summer. related searches : Cookies
