Corn Capsicum
Another Tasty Recipe TD's Healthy Subzi Cookbook. Simple and great taste. The Original Recipe uses Red and yellow capsicums, but i made using green ones, lazy to go get it!!! But never mind, it came out great!!!
Ingredients 1 cup boiled Sweet Corn Kernels 2 Medium sized Capiscums (Any Color) 1/2 cup Chopped Onions 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder 1 tsp Red Chilli powder 1 tsp Garam Masala 2 Tomatoes 1/4 tsp cCorn Flour mixed with 1/4 cup low fat milk 2 tsp oil Salt taste Chopped Coriander for garnishing Method Boil a Vesselful of water and add the tomatoes to it. Remove afte a few minutes, peel and blend to a smooth puree. Keep aside. Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a n on-stick pan and add the capsicum and saute for a while. Keep aside. Heat the remaining oil in the same pan, add onions and saute till they turn brown in colour. Add the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder,red chilli powder and garam masala and fry for a while. Sprinkle little water to avoid burning of masalas. Add the tomato puree to it and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the corn, sauteed capsicum, corn flour and milk mixture, and salt mix ell adn simmer till the gravy thickens. Serve Hot garnished with coriander. related searches : Corn
