Counting Calories

By Nikes and Ponytails (Visit website)

Yep, I swore I would never do it, but it is time. This morning I put on some fresh out of the dryer snug jeans and felt so blah, so I decided to step on the scale (which I don't do often, I try to gauge by how my clothes fit and how I feel). I was not pleased with the number that ran across the little screen.

Yesterday I was talking an obsence amount of pictures with my niece and looking at them today I can really see the weight in my face and I don't like that one bit, so I have to step it up. I have been in a snacky mood lately and I have to limit myself and make sure I am taking in less that I put out.

Total breakfast calories 205.5

Total Snack Calories 65
I don't have a set calorie limit yet, I am going to eat better today and see where I end up calorie wise and how I feel at the end of the day, if I feel starved or satisfied.

I also have already downed 1 liter of water and plan for at least 4 more today! :) That's only 8 more of my arrowhead waters no problem. I also have not have my cup of coffee today, I am going to hold out as long as possible. But I want to include it in my morning calorie count because I know it will happen.

Coffee- no sugar, one tablespoon flavored creamer- 39 calories

Question of the Day:

Lunch was 4 drumsticks (I didn't use the ranch) and a mini turkey/cheddar on rye (the sandwich was probably the size of my palm)

Lunch was approximately 550 calories
Mid- afternoon snack was 2 coconut macaroons.
Snack was about 230 calories ( WAY to much for such a small & unfilling snack)
Dinner was AHHHMAZING, boiled asparagus and chicken rice curry. (full review coming later) you must get out and buy yourself this stuff. The whole family raved about it.

Dinner was approx 500 calories

Total calorie expenditure was 1550 and I felt good all day. Let's try again Tuesday.
