Crisp Peanut Butter Protein Bar
Ingredients ? 1/2 cup brown rice syrup (or honey) ? 1/4 cup natural nut butter ? 5 scoops chocolate protein powder (1 3/4 cups) ? 4 tsps maca powder (optional) ? 1 1/4 cups crisp brown rice cereal (like brown rice krispies) ? 1 oz dark chocolate Directions Place brown rice syrup and peanut butter into mixer bowl (a heavy duty stand). Blend for 1 minute on medium speed. Mix together protein powder, maca and crisp rice cereal. Add to peanut butter mixture and mix on low speed until well blended. Add a FEW drops of water if necessary to make it stick together. Press mixture firmly and evenly into a lightly greased 9 x 9 inch pan. Let sit for 1 hr. Melt dark chocolate and drizzle over top. Cut into 9 bars.
