Curry Chicken Bell Pepper Pita Wraps

This dish was also inspired by Laila’s Blog. I love new recipes and experimenting with changes here and there. This is a very simple dish to make and once you have the filling cooked, you can put some in a container and roll your wraps whenever you want.


Chicken Bell Pepper Pita Wraps


What you need:


- large pita bread (you can use regular sized ones if you want as well)


- 2 bell peppers (I used half of each one just so I have different colors; slice into strips)


- 3-4 mushrooms (sliced)


- 2 chicken breasts (Boil then shred into strips)


- seasoning (black pepper, poultry seasoning, coriander, garlic salt)


- curry powder


- hummus (to pair with when your wrap is complete)


- olive oil


- 1/2 sweet onion (sliced into strips)


1. Heat your oil then add the sweet onions.


2. Carmelize your onions a little bit then add your shredded chicken.


3. Add seasoning and curry powder.


4. Mix in bell peppers and mushrooms.


5. Once this is done, set it aside.


6. Take your pita bread and separate the pita so you can make 2 wraps.


7. Add your chicken and bell pepper mix then roll.


8. Once you rolled your wraps, place them in a glass casserole dish and bake in the oven at 350F for about 10 minutes. This makes the wrap crispy.


9. Remove from oven and enjoy with hummus. =)
