Dark Beer in Chocolate Cupcakes????

I know it sounds weird, beer in cupcakes?? But you have to try the cupcake before making a judgment call. The bitterness from the beer is the perfect balance with the sweet decedent chocolate cupcake. It?s a match made in heaven. I am not a big fan of drinking any type of alcoholic beverages but I am a HUGE fan of having any type of alcohol in my food and desserts. Which is why I cook a lot with it and develop new recipes.




I like trying new things and making new desserts with a twist. That is why I tried this recipe out. This cupcake is a Dark Chocolate Beer Cupcake with a Fluffy White Vanilla Bean Beer Buttercream. Although you can taste hints of the beer, it does not overwhelm the cupcake. Chocolate and beer is a good combination with it comes to a cupcake.




There is also a little surprise in the cupcake as you?re eating it; I added tiny chocolate morsels in the batter.


I like an assortment of colors, shapes, textures when it comes to sprinkles. I think sprinkles add an extra touch of TLC on a cupcake!!! I?m one Happy Cupcake!!!
