Deja vu
Hello to you on this sunshiny Monday! How was everyone’s weekend?? How was your Monday??? I planned on getting this blog post up much earlier today, but that didn’t happen. This post is dedicated to Sunday food. Another post to come tonight with today’s eats. Yesterday morning, I began my day with a liquid diet. :) On the way to church…..I enjoyed a Keurig cup of coffee with steamed skim milk and 1 packet of truvia. And a protein shake made with: 1 cup skim milk 1 banana 1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder 1 tbsp MaraNatha peanut butter While this shake was delicious…..it’s better with ice cubes crushed up in it during the blending process. The ice helps to make it thicker and colder. Following church, Russell and I met his mother for lunch at Atlanta Bread. I love their weekend brunch!! I ordered the whole wheat waffle with bananas, strawberries, pecans, and yogurt. I added cinnamon too. It came with syrup on the side, while I used some syrup, the yogurt was my main “dippage.” While I contemplated a second cup of coffee of the day, I went with water instead. Russell and I came home for some more packing….joy. While the packing part (and I’m sure the unpacking part too) is not sooo much fun…..the thought of being out of this apartment in less than a week is an AWESOME thought. I’m sooooo excited about moving!!! We took a packing break mid-afternoon. I enjoyed a sliced apple with some dipping sauce concocted with PB, agave nectar, and low-fat Stonyfield yogurt. Packing……… ………….packing………….. ……………………..and more packing……………………… Dinner: I swear this is the best concoction of a Which Wich sandwich I can possibly imagine: Deja vu………. And while we enjoyed Rita’s Ice Saturday evening…..Russell and I have pretty much decided that we can’t go to Which Wich without going to Rita’s Ice too! We split a regular gelati with vanilla ice and fat-free custard. YUM!!! Another weekend fleeeeeew by!! Anybody agree with me?? What fun thing did YOU do this weekend???
