Dessert & Treats of the Week Recap

By Love Veggies and Yoga (Visit website)

Happy Saturday!  How are you doing today? I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start!  Mine sure is.  You know why?  I'll tell you...

Remember my little teaser from this end of this post?  And you may remember a few weeks ago when I mentioned that I was legally changing my name?  Well, yesterday afternoon I did some time at the courthouse in front of a Judge and I am now officially Averie Harmony (first & middle).  I am thrilled and just wanted to share my great news!  Now the fun part of changing things with the DMV, Passport, credit cards, ya know tons 'o fun.  But it's totally worth it because I love my name and am glad I'm now legal with it, too!

I'm also really impressed you guys like my cookbook stash and my shopping finds in yesterday's post.  It always excites me to know that my recipes have motivated someone to go out and buy a book that I've mentioned or to just get busy in the kitchen and whip up one of my recipes.  I want to give a shoutout to my friend Haley who's been a great friend and supporter of my blog, but she also made my cheesecake recipe and posted all about her endeavors.  The final result is that she was lickin' the plate clean.  Success!

So I thought I'd recap the treats I made 'round here this week to refresh your memory and bring everyone up to speed in case you missed a post.  Click on the links for recipe info so you can go get busy whipping up goodies!

Everything posted below is rockin' the Veganmofo Spirit

Saturday there was Vanilla Chia Pudding

Sunday I made Raw Vegan Apple Crumble

And I also made Vegan Blondie Macaroons

Monday night I made Banana Vanilla Softserve

Tuesday morning I whipped up Maple & Flax "Peanut Butter" Pancake-Cookies

And if you missed my last post, I finally gave up the Recipe for these Nummy Cakes.  Go check it out!

Pic from my last post all garnished up with raisins

Wednesday there was the Raw Vegan Cheesecake

Thursday I posted the Raw Vegan Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Balls

So you can see, I was a very busy girl making desserts and sweet treats.   And yes, they were all good.  I can't even pick a favorite.   Which one is your fave?

But, I wasn't so busy that I couldn't fit in a little yogaKukkutasana for ya today.

See you all Sunday with a few Gena-inspired meals that I made...

Tell me all about the food you like to make over the weekend when you have a lil more time on your side.  Do you get things lined up for the week and make planned-overs, aka leftovers.  That's my Tip of the Day:  Make extra, it will totally save you for at least one meal mid-week when things are a little craaazzy and you're pressed for time.  Or do you do you use your weekend time for chopping & prep work?  Or, do you say screw it to being responsible and just get outta the kitchen and get on with life?
