Recipe type: Dessert

Number of serving: 4

Preparation time: 1 Hour(s)

Cook time: 5 Minute(s)

Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:

5-6 apples large peeled
sugar
cinnamon
jars
seals
rings
  Preparation:

fill a big pot with water and turn on med, put the seals and rings in to sterlize.Wash the jars and now put them in the boiling water too, take the jars out after 5 minutes and set on clean cloth. Now peel the apples and leave chunky, put in a large pan and turn on low, let cook till soft, break them up with a wooden spoon, when they are at the texture you prefer, add cinnamon and sugar to your taste, I do not use measurements for this recipe, when the applesauce is to your liking put into jars, clean the rim of jar if applesauce is on it, take out a seal from the boiling water place on jar and now add the ring screw on semi tight, now place the jar into the pan of boiling water MAKE SURE THE JAR IS COVERED BY THE WATER, if not add more boiling water. Let the jar boil for 5 minutes for half-pints and 10 minutes for pints, I used 1/2 pints for this recipe. This is my own recipe you can also add raisins too.

Internet users evaluation :

It doesn't say how much of each ingredient, to use. But it sounds good! Where can we get the jars? It also doesn't seem to say, when to put the apple sauce into the boiled jars. It's been a long time since my mother and I made and canned apple sauce, so specific details would help!
