Ingredients:
3 (abt 500g) brown pears ( quartered and remove the seeds)
1 lemongrass (crushed or bruised)
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 litre of water
Mint leaves for garnishing

Preparation:
Simmer the sugar, lemongrass and water until it becomes a thick syrup.
Add in the pears and continue to simmer until it becomes semi-soft (test with a fork)
Remove and arrange the pear on a serving plate.
Pour the syrup over and garnish with the mint leaves.
