Ingredients:
For The Top Layer:
2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup softened salted butter
For The Bottom Layer:
1 cup pineapple jam
80g crushed almond pieces
3 tbsp sugar
1/4 cup water

Preparation:
Crumble the flour and butter together.
Press into a greased baking pan/tray.
The size of the pan/tray depends on how thick or thin you would prefer the bars to be.
Bake for about 15 min at 180C or to a light brown in color.
Remove from oven and spread the jam evenly on top.
Sprinkle the almonds over the jam.
Mix the sugar with water to dissolve and pour over the almonds.
Bake for another 30 mins at 180C or until the top layer becomes dark brown in color.
Remove and let it cool down.
Once done, cut into bars and store in air tight container.
