Drying homegrown thyme

By food n more (Visit website)

I guess it?s all the rain and/or recent clear skies.  Whatever the case may be everything in the garden is growing like crazy.  Too much, even.  Not that I’m complaining.

Today I gave the thyme a much needed hair cut:  perfect timing(!) as I’m running low on the dried stuff (perfect in all my Jamaican delicacies).  To dry thyme alls you got to do is hang it upside down in a warm room (my 19th century hot box of an apartment is perfect for this…) for a few days when you?re friends aren?t around and once dried take the leaves off the stems.  That?s it.  The Martha Stewart/Billy Mays in me, why buy when you can dry!?

Yea, totally not embarassing...
