Eat, Live?.
Hey hey it’s Monday and I have an ANNOUNCEMENT! But you’ll have to wait till the end of this post to read it. Anyways, sorry I’m a slacker and this is so late! I’ve been getting my yoga on. Had some egg white oatmeal for breakfast: ![]() 1/2 c oats, 1 c water, 2 egg whites, 1 banana, 1 T almond butter and pumpkin butter. Took my sore arms to a 75 minute power flow class, which rocked my shoulders off with all the handstand prep and openers! After class, I grabbed a small soy chai latte and then worked at the desk at the studio for the next couple hours. Twas fun! I tried on Lululemon groove pants and fell in love…they fit like a GLOVE. But, alas, I took them off and told myself to wait….I can totally see where the obsession lies now though. I mean, my butt LOVED those pants. LOVED. sigh. ![]() Grabbed a sandwich at the Italian deli next door for lunch. This is roasted eggplant and bell pepper with tomato, lettuce, pepperjack cheese, balsamic and avocado on sourdough: ![]() It was insanely messy (and delicious). *** so, yes, my big announcement! So apparently I can’t really RUN despite my best efforts…. ![]() ![]() ![]() The effort was there…really! However, mega painful shin splits + $500 orthotics + bad sprained ankle = jenna no run no more. And what do former runners do when their game hits the dust (besides hours of power yoga)? Cycle? ![]() I’ve been invited to participate in the Napa Echelon Gran Fondo on May 23rd, which is a 100 mile cycling event all throughout wine country. Considering I have never in my life even BEEN ON a roadbike, this should be interesting. 100 miles? No big deal. Y’all probably know by now that I love a good challenge/adventure and this will surely be that. All proceeds for the event go to further cancer research and so, yet again, I’ve pledged myself to raise $5,000 for the cause. Eat Live…… Ride? related searches : Eat
